The North Quabbin Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1982 to promote the economic stability of the nine town Athol/Orange region of Massachusetts. Helping to spearhead local revitalization efforts, the Chamber of Commerce offers a wide range of service and programs benefiting the business community and residents of the North Quabbin region. The Chamber is a voluntary membership organization with a base of support drawn from the area's industrial, retail, service and professional business communities.
The North Quabbin Chamber of Commerce exists in order to serve the business community of the entire nine town North Quabbin region: Athol, Erving, New Salem, Orange, Petersham, Phillipston, Royalston, Warwick and Wendell.
The North Quabbin Chamber of Commerce acts as a liason between the business community and a variety of health and human service program available in the region. The Chamber works to maintain lines of communication between these different sectors of the community.
The North Quabbin Chamber of Commerce sponsors and co-sponsors many events throughout the North Quabbin area. The Chamber acts as a resource to any community organization planning area wide activities.
The Chamber offers health insurance to its members. This is done through the Small Business Service Bureau and a local representative. You must be a member to be eligible for health insurance.
